WHAT IS AZWOA?
How It Started
Arizona Women of Action started in October 2020 as a text chain of 8 action-oriented women with a shared love of America and a passion for protecting kids and reviving schools. The family is the core of the American ideal, and our goal is for every Arizona family to thrive.
Today with close to 20,000 active subscribers and followers, (3,500 email, plus over 16,000 social media), we are one of the largest and most effective grassroots organizations in the State of Arizona. We have a volunteer-based nonprofit 501-c(4) designation. We also run AZW Action PAC, and our 501-c(3), Women for Families and Freedom.
All of our work remains guided by Judeo-Christian, foundational American values.

Common Questions
Q: Do I have to be a woman to follow AZWOA, subscribe to your emails or come to your events?
A: Not at all! We are BY Women, and FOR Arizona (whether you’re male or female).
Q: When do you have meetings?
A: We have a regular weekly video call every Wednesday (see our Strategic Action Team info below). We also have periodic meet-ups that connect people on specific action. Once per year we have a large event called our Arizona Women of Action Summit, usually in the fall. The Summit centers on a specific theme, has fantastic speakers, fun, energy and lots of connections. We also promote other groups’ events and invite our followers to connect that way.
Q: How do I become a ‘member’?
A: We don’t have a formal membership, and there’s no charge to get our weekly newsletter. We often refer to anyone who subscribes to that or follows us on social media as a member of AZWOA.
