Girls’/Women’s Sports Not Safe Until People Hold Firm
Executive Orders are nice—when you like the politics of the President in power. But they can change just as easily with the next President, and even now, they don’t hold the power of law. They simply set a policy that directs the agencies what to do. They are open to lawsuits, which can take months to work out. We need Congress to pass good laws. And that’s why ALL elections, and ALL elected officials matter.
We discussed this and more on the podcast Into the Fire (powered by Dream City Church), titled: Are Women's Sports Finally protected? w/ Kim Miller.
What’s happened since AZ Women of Action and three moms filed a motion to intervene in Arizona’s Save Women’s Sports Law in 2023, which was denied to us finally at the Ninth Circuit Court? Right now, two biological boys are still playing against girls in Arizona because of a preliminary injunction. You’ll learn the status, as well how WE citizens can make a difference.
We can help by voicing our concerns and applying public pressure on schools, hospitals and businesses that refuse to comply with any recent common-sense Executive Orders signed by President Trump. A big concern now is for Women’s sports and spaces being protected under Title IX.
This is the White House Fact Sheet: President Donald J. Trump Protects Safety, Fairness, and Dignity in Women’s Sports. Having it in writing is great. But will your local schools comply? Many won’t. Read More Schools Defy Trump EO Banning Men from Women’s Sports.
And if they don’t, who will hold them to account? It takes each one of us to ask questions and spread the word to other common-sense friends.
Ask your local schools and universities if they’re allowing biological males (those would be the ones with XY chromosomes) to play in girls’/women’s sports. If they don’t have a strong answer, share a printed copy or email the link of the Executive Order Fact Sheet and ask them to read it. It spells out the logic right there.
Then, if it’s a public school or university, you can report schools to the Education arm of DOGE, since violations of Title IX (discriminating against biological females) would also violate the anti-DEI Executive Order. DOGE Education is seeking help from the public! Please DM this account with insights on waste, fraud, and abuse relating to the U.S. Dept of Education.
Thankfully, President Trump and his administration are bringing back truth, fairness and a lot of our basic American freedoms. But we can’t sit back and think he’s going to do all the heavy lifting! NOW is the time to make Citizen Engagement Great Again! It’s going to take each one of us to speak up.
