• Parents read excerpts from books found by their children in their school libraries

  • HBOE Meeting (Sept 13, 2021)

• Book titles to keep a look out for:

  • Any book recommended by Young Adult Library Services Association (YALSA)

  • Lawn Boy

  • Gender Queer

  • Flamer

  • Surviving the City

  • I'm a Wild Seed

  • Heartstopper

  • Black Girl Unlimited

  • The Black Kids

  • Out of Darkness

Take Action
