Each of Today’s Democrats are Driving American Life: Do YOU Want to be in That Car?
The Democrat Party of today is NOT “Liberal”. John F Kennedy was a Liberal. He would be kicked out of Democrat circles today. The Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. was a Liberal. Most college campuses would cancel Dr. King with angry protests. Today’s Democrats are driving a very different future—one of ‘soft’ Totalitarianism, a form of re-imagined Communist Marxism.
I challenge any ‘moderate’ conservative or Democrat who might be rolling their eyes and thinking this is a ‘conspiracy theory’ to simply THINK. Consider the platforms and the actions of current Democrats by comparing them to history.
Circulating recently has been a lecture given in 1968 by G. Edward Griffin called “More Deadly Than War”. Watching the grainy, black & white film will shock the mind that people were predicting these things that we’re experiencing NOW, more than 50 years ago. It’s easier to connect the dots in hindsight. You’ll want to finish and share the hour and 14-minute video. Griffin reads many Communist writings that were openly circulated on campuses and elsewhere.
Charlie Kirk recently published a very important article titled, “45 Communist Objectives Outlined for America Are Remarkably Similar to Democrat Policies”. This article alone has the power to “red-pill” many of our dear friends out of their wishful thinking that we can ‘work with’ the ‘reasonable’ Democrats when they win in November against the ‘unreasonable and flawed’ Republicans. Share this blog and these articles with them. Seriously, read Charlie’s entire article—very worth the read.
He shares a list of communist objectives that were delivered as a warning to Congress in the 1960s by U.S. Rep. Albert S. Herlong Jr., a member of a then far-different Democratic Party. Charlie says, “In addition to being communist objectives, many of them also share significant elements of Marxist ideology akin to what we’re seeing Democrats pivot to, and attempt to implement, in today’s America.
A 2021 article by Ethan Allen Institute explains, “These goals were gleaned from the testimony given to Congress by scholars and from the writings of current or former Communists”, and adds:
“‘Socialism is seen as the bridge between Capitalism and Communism. The major difference between Socialism and Communism is in the method of takeover. Socialism (and Progressivism) believes that it can centralize all control of the individual, land and industry by peaceful, but gradual, legislation; whereas Communism seeks a violent and final confrontation to eliminate all dissension to achieve its Utopian goal of a Stateless and Classless society.
But make no mistake; what is the same in all three ideologies is the desire to seize monolithic control of society. Mussolini termed this the Totalitarian Society: “Everything in the State, nothing outside the State, nothing against the State.’
See if you can spot the similarities (to current America) in this partial list:
Capture one or both of the political parties in the United States.
Get control of the schools and teachers’ associations. Soften the curriculum.
Gain control of all student newspapers.
Infiltrate the press.
Gain control of key positions in radio, TV and pictures.
Eliminate all laws governing obscenity by calling them “censorship” and a violation of free speech and press.
Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography and obscenity in the media.
Present homosexuality, degeneracy and promiscuity as “normal, natural, and healthy.”
Infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with “social” religion.
Eliminate prayer or any phase of religious expression in the schools on the grounds that it violates the principal of “separation of church and state.”
Discredit the American Constitution by calling it inadequate and old-fashioned.
Discredit the American founding fathers as selfish aristocrats [and racists].
Belittle American culture and discourage the teaching of American history.
Discredit and eventually dismantle the FBI.
Infiltrate and gain control of big business and unions.
Transfer some of the powers of arrest from the police to social agencies. Treat all behavioral problems as mental health or social problems.
Discredit the family as an institution. Encourage promiscuity and easy divorce.
Emphasize the need to raise children away from the negative influence of parents.
Repeal the Connally Reservation, allowing the World Court jurisdiction over nations and individuals alike.
Citizens, please open minds and connect the dots, while there’s still time. You know America (and basic Western tradition) has been under attack at a shocking pace. Please read last week’s blog for some of the evidence and results of today’s Leftist Democrat ideas.
Finally, one last source... Rod Dreyer’s book “Live Not By Lies” and this 12-min interview with Hugh Hewitt. They discuss the movement in America toward ‘soft totalitarianism’. Current political and business power elites are establishing conformity in America using ‘denial of opportunity’. (Think social credit scores and other methods of limiting access to anyone not following leftist policies.)
Dreyer’s book was inspired by Father Kolakovic in the 1940s. As the Slovak priest, who helped his followers survive the Communist take-over, would advise us today:
SEE what’s been changing in American life.
JUDGE for yourselves the Results--who gains and who loses.
ACT to awaken others and SPEAK UP against the loss of freedom.
And I would add: STOP any more Democrats from driving the ‘car’ of America off the cliff.
