Who Truly Celebrates Women
Progressives are the true misogynists-- celebrating ‘Women’s History Month’, while degrading women in schools, sports and work. President Biden’s White House declared March 2023 for women, but their side reduces women to manipulatable tokens for political advantage.
According to the Democrats in charge, women are valued mainly when they’re activists: “Women — often women of color — have been on the frontlines, fighting for and securing equal rights and opportunity… as abolitionists, civil rights leaders, suffragists, and labor activists. Women continue to lead as advocates for reproductive rights, champions of racial justice, and LGBTQI+ equality.”… But why no mention of the strong, selfless women who create thriving families (along with the complementary strengths of their husbands)? Who’s celebrating all the women who do life with excellence from their uniqueness as women?
Biden’s declaration defends women’s “reproductive freedom… to make the choices that are right for themselves” but his party prevents women from getting ALL the options available for them to choose life. His DOJ charged 26 pro-life activists with FACE Act violations in 2022, but did not charge any pro-abortion activist last year, despite Catholic Vote trackers reporting more than 100 apparent pro-abortion attacks on pro-life pregnancy resource centers and churches—those that help women in need.
He promotes “access to reproductive care, including medication abortion”, but ignores the doctors who worry “the FDA hasn’t done its job to ensure women and girls aren’t being harmed by these drugs. On the contrary, the FDA has time and time again weakened safety protocols at the behest of the abortion industry and at the expense of women and girls’ health and safety. It’s unacceptable. Women and girls deserve better…”
Progressives can’t even define a woman. Senator Marsha Blackburn questioned Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson during Supreme Court confirmation hearings, but Jackson refused to define what a “woman” is. “The fact that you can’t give me a straight answer about something as fundamental as what a woman is underscores the dangers of the kind of progressive education that we are hearing about,” Blackburn said. She cited the NCAA championship…, where transgender athlete Lia Thomas outperformed and out-placed multiple female swimmers, some former Olympians, stripping them of their chances of advancing to finals.
“What message do you think this sends to girls who aspire to compete and win in sports at the highest levels?,” the senator asked.
Progressives literally replace women with biological men. As The Federalist reports, “Big Businesses Like KitchenAid Display Hatred For Women By Hiring Men In Costumes For Ads.” TikTok performer Dylan Mulvaney insults women with his sexist caricature. “Despite his sickening distortion of femininity while performing as a transgender man, Mulvaney is rewarded. Most recently, Mulvaney’s deluded belief that feathers and sparkles indicate womanhood granted him a front-page spot in KitchenAid’s 2023 Color of the Year campaign launch and newsletter.”
Hershey’s Chocolates rolled out an International Women’s Day marketing campaign that featured a man who identifies as a woman as one of its spokespersons. (The stunt led Jeremy Boreing, co-CEO of The Daily Wire, to produce a candy line that wouldn’t kowtow to the Left’s views on gender, and it sold over half a million bars within a week.)
And closer to home, girls in schools are stripped of their privacy, dignity and safety in the name of progressive ‘inclusion’. A Tucson school board “wouldn’t reconsider their unwritten policy on boys who claim to be transgender — a policy which also doesn’t require parents to be notified when males use their daughters’ locker rooms and restrooms, and directs girls to use another facility if they’re upset that males use female-designated private spaces.”
So, who’s celebrating women? Clearly NOT the ‘feminists who say nothing while girls are losing their identities, their stability, their power and their happiness—especially liberal girls and women. The ones who REALLY celebrate women are those who simply see them for their wide range of strengths and beauty, just because they’re created female. And we don’t need a pandering, condescending, marketing month to tell us that.
